Description : ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
•Graduation / Post graduation in Advertising, Marketing, Business / Management, Communications. MBA in Marketing/ Advertising.
•3+ yrs of experience in Sales and Marketing (Advertising). Candidates with Advertising background will be preferred. Having 3-4 years of experience in Advertising/ Outdoor/ Media/ Electronic Media/ Newspaper Ads etc.
•Sales and Marketing includes knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, marketing and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and principles of marketing.

JOB PROFILE:
Marketing executives are involved in aspects of marketing, including: planning; advertising; promotion; public/media relations; product development; distribution; sponsorship; and research. The role is often challenging, varied and exciting. Marketing executives may also be known as marketing assistants or coordinators.
•Design, implement, and facilitate annual marketing plan for the firm.
•Contributing to and developing long-term marketing plans and strategies.
•Plan and administer the firm’s Marketing Operations budget.
Support development of regional marketing budgets.
•Advertising/ Marketing executives work closely with their clients throughout campaigns, managing administrative and organizational work, and ensuring that this is completed on time and on budget. Manage and track the expenses for each event. Ensure budget is managed properly.
•Prepare promotional plans, sales literature, media kits, and sales contracts.
•Explore new advertising markets, and propose products to serve them.
•Managing the production of all marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, catalouges, brochures and flyers etc - this can involve writing and proofreading copy and coordinating with designers and printers; To manage all aspects of print production, receipt and distribution.
•Coordinating with customers, suppliers, service providers and media etc.
•Work with the in-house designer to produce materials of visual impact and within brand guidelines.
•Write copy for each product, reflecting key messages, features and benefits.
•Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing customers in order to sell new advertising programs, and to protect and increase existing advertising.
•Responsible for creating brand image by arranging seminar, workshop, events and any other indoor / outdoor corporate activities.
•Visit to the clients' locations involving product presentations of the company and sales.
•Developing advertising opportunities, which can involve placing advertisements in national, regional and specialist publications or on the radio (depending on the organisation and the campaign) and thereafter Booking orders.
•Presenting creative work to clients for approval or modification; meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks;
•Locate and contact potential clients in order to offer advertising services.
•Coordinating with, and acting as the link between, the client and advertising agency by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively; negotiating with clients and agency staff about the details of campaigns; Also serves as link between the company and advertising agencies, freelance talent, print suppliers, and other marketing services.
•Monitoring competitor activity & Analysing pricing positions;
•Organizing meetings between clients and concerned employees, if needed for any clarification.
•Building new business clients and tie-ups to expand company’s goodwill to reach in the market.
•Building strong relationships with clients / customers for business growth & profitability.
•Keep regular interaction and continuous follow up with the key clients for better extraction and expansion.
•Building strong relationships and coordinating with customers, suppliers, service providers and media etc.
•Establish and maintain marketing, media advertising, clients, service provider’s database and inventory control of marketing information. Provide timely follow up on all advertising inquiries, and maintain availability by telephone and email to clientele and staff members and keep a log of all contacts made/outcomes of those interactions.
•Maintain & post a list of all ads booked for the current and future issues, including client name, size and type of ad.
•Maintaining and updating mailing databases;
•Maintaining information on projects and clients & Monitoring the progress of work and producing status reports
•Writing reports, keeping records and financial details; the profitability of accounts & monitoring the effectiveness of campaigns;
•Marketing materials, advertising, client communications, direct mail, marketing campaigns, press releases, content for trade publications, etc.
•Market research and competitor analysis.
•Supporting the development of the website.
•Attend sales meetings, industry trade shows, and training seminars in order to gather information, promote products, expand network of contacts, and increase knowledge.
•Advising on forth coming product development & discussing special promotions and achieving the sales target.
•Attending meetings and sharing ideas at brainstorming sessions, reporting back details of discussions;
•Writing and distributing press releases; company newsletters and event announcements.
•Invoicing & following up for payments / collection etc with the clients. Assisting General Manager with collection of outstanding accounts.
•Sales and Marketing business performance reporting.
•Keeping account of all the expenditures incurred on a day-to-day basis.
•Build and develop a marketing team which is competent, commercially astute, dedicated and efficient.
•Explain to customers how specific types of advertising will help promote their products or services in the most effective way possible.
•Deliver advertising or illustration proofs to customers for approval.
•Provide clients with estimates of the costs of advertising products or services.
•Inform customers of available options for advertisement artwork, and provide samples.
•Obtain and study information about clients' products, needs, problems, advertising history, and business practices in order to offer effective sales presentations and appropriate product assistance.
•Arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials;
•Organising and attending events and exhibitions;
•Securing sponsorship to assist with the publicity and funding of marketing projects;
•Carrying out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness;
•Evaluating marketing campaigns;
•Negotiating, purchasing and monitoring media space on behalf of their clients. They aim to reach the highest number of people in the target audience at the lowest possible cost. Chosen media may include newspapers/press, magazines, posters, internet, television, radio, cinema as well as more unusual platforms, such as, for example, brand promotion on the sides of buses and taxis.
•Coordination includes - Events planning, organization and execution… Prepare event agenda, invitations, registration forms and payments/refunds tracking for customer events…Generate form letters for mass brochure mailings to prospective customers, including thank you letters & trade show passes… Coordinate catered events for customer visits & staff events including: dinners, luncheons, beach parties, picnics, happy hours, clubs, etc…Track prospective contacts, seminar attendees, event revenues & expense tracking… Prepare budgets and submit cost estimates. |
